Le Marché du Lez, Montpellier's alternative space

montpellier-festival-marche-lez-02

The Lez market, a new art of living

This former printing workshop is an old farmhouse built on the banks of the Lez, with an industrial and agricultural charm that perfectly matches the contemporary and arty concept of the Lez market. Responsible, innovative and resolutely trendy, the place brings together creative and local initiatives in a relaxed atmosphere. It is built around restaurants, shops, second-hand goods dealers and artists, and has become a trendy reference point in the city over the last few years!

The brocante spirit at the Lez market

Antique dealers, second-hand dealers and decorators take place in the heart of a space dedicated to antique hunters and vintage enthusiasts. The exhibitors welcome you on more than 500 square meters to share a universe mixing design furniture of the 20th century, retro clothes, movie posters, African art... The second-hand market is open from Tuesday to Sunday included from 10 am to 7 pm non-stop. It is the ideal place for nostalgic souls looking for found treasures....

Food, drink and love

For lovers of "good living and good eating", there are plenty of gourmet options at the Marché du Lez. In guinguette or street mode, discover the best of local and international gastronomy thanks to the restaurants and numerous food-trucks! At the Halles du Lez, producers, shopkeepers, craftsmen and chefs come together to offer you a "hot spot" of the culinary scene. In short, the Marché du Lez is the place to be for any gourmet who likes to sit down to a good meal and enjoy a craft beer before a game of pétanque.

Les rendez-vous du Lez

Alternative and evolving, the Marché du Lez is a real showcase for urban cultures. Between exhibitions and collaborations, artists reinvent the place according to the rhythm of events and their inspiration. Workshops, festivals and other events are organised throughout the year for young and old. The Puces du Lez take place every second Saturday of the month, where individuals and craftsmen exhibit their treasures and other finds.
