Opened in 1990, the Corum is a large cultural complex in the heart of Montpellier, housing the Berlioz Opera House and the Palais des Congrès conference centre. Easily accessible, the Corum is served by tram and bus and is located 10 minutes from Saint-Roch station.
Located in the Écusson district, Le MO.CO Panacée is a contemporary art centre housed in the former royal college of medicine. Since 2013, it has welcomed more than 120,000 visitors per year and offers 1,000 m² of exhibition space, hosting around 120,000 visitors per year, combining performances, installations and workshops. Open to all, it offers exhibitions, guided tours, workshops and meetings. A true hub of artistic life, it also features a café and spaces for exchange, reflecting Montpellier's modern cultural roots. Founded in 1828 thanks to a donation from painter François-Xavier Fabre, the Fabre Museum is now one of France's most prestigious museums. Housed in the Hôtel de Cabrières-Sabatier d'Espeyran, it traces the history of Western art from the Renaissance to the present day, with masterpieces by Rubens, Delacroix, Soulages and others. It presents collections from the 17th to the 21st centuries, including paintings, sculptures and decorative arts, as well as major temporary exhibitions.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday, it is easily accessible via the Comédie and Corum tram lines. Admission is free on the first Sunday of the month.
Located near Place de la Comédie, the Pavillon Populaire is a space dedicated to contemporary photography on the Charles de Gaulle esplanade. Free and open to all, it hosts exhibitions by renowned photographers such as Doisneau and McCartney, combining art, documentary and visual photography. Every year, it hosts the Les Boutographies festival, a showcase for European talent.
